This role has a significant focus on increasing and diversifying revenue for Ampere through its Social Enterprise division.  Specific goals are informed by annual divisional targets. Revenue will be generated through the execution of the following activities: 

Sales and Relationship Management Activities:
  • Create and execute an outreach strategy  based on self-guided research into potential new partnerships and develop a plan to  to generate new partnerships and leads
  • Leverage knowledge of program offerings to be able to develop a customized approach for each new partner based on their specific needs and goals
  • Onboard and steward new and existing partners to various Ampere offerings based on their specific needs and goals
  • Consistently engage a pipeline of potential partners
  • Seamlessly transition partners, when ready, to account management team with clear communication and robust context
  • Lead prospective client meetings/presentations.
  • Encourage and support potential partners in their journey with Ampere
  • Active client relationship development and management
  • Client research and analysis
  • Ensure all information related to existing and prospective partners is accurately captured in Ampere’s CRM  including client correspondence
  • Leverage pipeline information to make data driven decisions related to strategy

Creating and Communicating Proposals:
  • Draft RFP responses and keep status current in the database as sales research and proposal writing progresses through phases.
  • Develop and write compelling proposals for potential partners and competitive bid responses 
  • Translate partner needs into clear, persuasive narratives, including cost estimates, project descriptions, implementation plans, timelines, deliverables, staffing approaches, and risk considerations.
  • Coordinate proposal development processes by gathering input from internal teams, managing timelines and reviews, and ensuring accurate, complete submissions.
  • Maintain proposal resources, templates, and records to strengthen organizational capacity and improve proposal development practices.
  • Coordinate project transition and activation processes such as preparing project briefs, partner meetings, and cross-departmental communications. 

Attribute and Qualification: 
Equal consideration will be given to non-academic skills and experiences of candidates.
  •  2+ years of experience in a sales role business development, customer service, or account management. 
  • Proven ability to conduct self-guided research, make cold contacts, and actively build a pipeline of prospective partners.
  • Strong written communication skills with experience drafting proposals, grant applications, or RFP (Request for Proposal) responses.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines, coordinate inputs across internal teams, and keep records up to date in a CRM or database.
  • Confident verbal communicator who can lead prospective client meetings, present custom solutions, and build authentic relationships.
  • Direct experience with high-volume phone outreach or cold calling is an asset. 
  • Prior work experience in a non-profit, charity, or mission-driven social enterprise environment is an asset. 
  • Familiarity with competitive bidding workflows, municipal/government procurement portals, or proposal management software is an asset.

The expense for the Police Check falls on the individual, not the company, if there are any concerns regarding this please speak to the Human Resource Team. Additionally, please confirm you're completing the Police Check in the correct region.
